Prophecy about the crossing in a new Era

The fifth era of the world, predicted by Mayas comes to an end and the sixth shall begin in 2012. This year marks the debut of a new great temporal cycle and readjusts the clock of precession. We are thus between eras, a period known as apocalypse, meaning a time of revelation and discovery. The Mayas prophecy combines with others related to the regaining of ancient wisdom, assimilation of new truths and the chance that human kind shall have in order to responsibly resolve its problems, making right choices.

Contemporaneous Maya learners, who recovered the ancient wisdom by spreading it, teach us that this period of transition represents a chance for us to cure the planet from the abuses it was subjected to, to reconcile with our enemies and harmoniously work together in the future. Calendars show we are passing through the 13^th and last solar year of 394 years, bakun, which accordingly to the prophecies shall be characterized through a “materialism triumph” and a “material transformation”. During this last bakun, that started at approximately 1618 and shall end in 2012, the human kind estranged increasingly towards nature’s primordial energies.

Passing to a new era offers us an apprenticeship period, during which we have the chance to improve and stabilize relationships between us and accept the responsibility we have towards our planet. Only by making these positive choices, we can resolve the problems we are facing. In Mayas cosmology New Era means the creation of a new world. Luckily, this period represents regeneration for both people and our planet.
