Prophecy 19

Katun 2 Ahaun is the 12^th katun. Half of this period there shall be bread and the other half there shall be water. This is God’s word. Bread, water and temple are halved. It’s the end of God’s word.

Katun 2 ahau shall be the first katun of the new era that shall follow the winter solstice from 2012. Key of this prophecy is “it’s the end of God’s word”; what sustains life shall be halved. In previous Katun 2 ahau there were great spiritual and ideological crisis and this prophecy warns about a new imminent one. Its possible cause is the undermining of traditionally inherited spiritual authority through a technology that replaces human natural faculties. Thus the prophecy warns about the stringent need to overcome this excessive technocratic culture that we created.

Pursuant to this prophecy, the excessive technology has consequences on the long run. It overpasses the moment that technology serves for a better life quality. Technology developed up to the point that we surrender to this materialistic and consumerist values. It contributed to our alienation of nature and natural time. The prophecy reminds us of recurrent theme of spiritual reintegration with nature, in the same time talks about the stringent need of human kind to transcend technology because we are headed for the moment when it takes the control over the world.”
